Ionate, Inc. ("Ionate", "we", "us", or "our") operates MIRA Codex Studio ("MIRA", "the Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit our website or use our platform.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly and information collected automatically when you use the Service:

• Contact information — name, email address, company name when you submit a demo request or contact form.
• Usage data — pages visited, time on page, browser type, and referring URLs, collected via standard web analytics (aggregated, not linked to individuals).
• Session data — browser localStorage used exclusively on your device for the pricing calculator's AI Advisor configuration (API keys are never transmitted to our servers).
• Source code and artifacts — when you engage MIRA to analyze your codebase, we process your code strictly for the purpose of producing the modernization output you requested. We do not retain, train on, or share your code with third parties.

How We Use Your Information

• To respond to demo requests, inquiries, and support tickets.
• To improve and maintain the reliability of the Service.
• To send transactional communications (account updates, security notices).
• To comply with legal obligations.

What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
• We do not use your source code or modernization artifacts to train AI models.
• We do not serve behavioral advertising or install third-party tracking cookies.

Data Retention

Contact and inquiry data is retained for up to 24 months or until you request deletion. Modernization project artifacts are deleted from our processing environment within 30 days of project completion unless contractually extended.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights under GDPR (EU/EEA), CCPA (California), PIPEDA (Canada), or similar frameworks, including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@mirastudio.ai.

Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including TLS encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-Party Services

The Service may link to third-party websites (e.g., partner documentation). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. The AI Advisor in the pricing calculator connects to the endpoint and API key you configure — we never see those credentials.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Terms of Use

By accessing or using MIRA Codex Studio, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Permitted Use

You may use the Service for lawful software modernization purposes within your organisation. You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of MIRA's agentic pipeline.
• Use the Service to process code to which you do not have legal rights.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without a written partner agreement with Ionate.
• Introduce malicious code or conduct penetration testing without prior written authorisation.
• Use the Service in any manner that violates applicable law or regulation.

Intellectual Property

The MIRA platform, its underlying models, and all associated documentation are the exclusive intellectual property of Ionate, Inc., protected by copyright, trade secret, and patent law.

Output generated by MIRA from your source artifacts — including transpiled code, architecture diagrams, and modernization reports — belongs to you. Ionate claims no ownership over code it produces on your behalf.

AI-Assisted Output — No Warranty of Correctness

MIRA produces AI-assisted modernization output. All generated code, documentation, and recommendations should be reviewed by qualified engineers before deployment to production systems. Ionate makes no warranty, express or implied, that the output is error-free, complete, or fit for any specific purpose. You assume full responsibility for validating and deploying output.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IONATE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state and federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the website or email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance.
